From the 2235 meters above sea level of the Son Forca Refuge, the view extends over the basin of Cortina d'Ampezzo and the Dolomite peaks that surround it. It is a unique place where rocks and high-altitude meadows meet, which in winter become magnificent ski slopes.
A refuge for everyone
Son Forca Refuge is located at the arrival of the Rio Gere-Son Forca chairlift; thanks to its spectacular position and the warm welcome of the Siorpaes family who have been running it for years, it is a landmark for skiers and hikers who go up to Mount Cristallo.
